here's a bunch of interesting hits and misses this con:
- this con really tests your limit of how much you can tolerate howugly visually uninspiring your idols can become orz... 
the question is, does sho have to look like a chinaman in order to report on the beijing olympics??
sho's hair reminds me of jacky chan's old gongfu films in the 70s ORZ...

ohno's hair is black and... normal O.o...
geez... all he lacks is a briefcase before he can start going door to door selling vacuum cleaners O.o

the stage set may look kind of bare right now, but with all the lights at full blast, it's really amazing.
i hope this idea could be used in all their future cons... really amazing and convenient to watch in such a huge environment
- and they had this suddenchildish carnival insert huh? directly after their set of kakkoi opening songs ORZ...
it was quite impressive with the colourful gigantic horse, carriage, was it a pumpkin with balloons and a bizarre plant thing but today was neither new year's day nor chingay, so i'm not sure what's with these disney floats?ok, i admit i'm too old for this ><...

anyway he led the way on the jerky carousel horse and he had this absolutely angellic smile throughout
and with his otona momo hair!

- jun's solo was amazing O.o
it was such an elegant performanceunlike lock w/me XD.
he did this beautiful, artsy modern dance with the troup of female dancers and MAD.
to me, the highlight of it was the outfit.
simple, off-white loose jacket over similar off-white low-cut vest with flowy, similar off-white loose yohji yamamoto-like trousers. and the material had this perfect shine like raw silk, not loud and eye-blinding shiny, but elegant and sensuous.
and coupled with his naturally pale complexion, and the fluffy, scrunched up, dry, momo hair, he was like an angel on earth
AND to perfect the overall sex angel look, he performed his solo barefoot... *wah~~~ take my money la~~~ dies*
i mean, he was just so... white and... celestial O.o
all the other dancers were also simply dressed in pale green shifts with unadorned white sheets tied at one shoulder like the ancient greeks.

the dance was really as elegant as the song <3333
and in the last part, the girls untied their white sheets and formed a circle to cover jun within it, and he appeared after that dancing topless O.o

of couse, not everyone could appreciate his body. selene thought he was too skinny

he was in all black with red accessories and dancing throughout his solo with the MAD guys O.o...
i mean, it was super strange to see our nino suddenly acting all sexy, and while jun sometimes made me go into fits of laughter with his try-too-hard sex appeal, nino just made my jaw drop O.o

as my eyes were glued to my powerful binoculars throughout this perf, i saw a damn close up of him licking his finger slowly (like that jun finger licking pic in the calendar) then rubbing his saliva onto his neck.. WAH LAO THAT'S THE LIMIT orz...
the problem was, he had short fingers, and he looked so bloody clumsy doing it like he hesitated where to rub off his saliva and decided to plaster it on his neck in a desperate move
i'm sure that slimy part of his neck must be bugging his brains for the rest of the song XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!
and what's worse was that he was lip synching BADLY. he was slow by a beat at several parts and it became irritating to watch his perf after awhile >""""""""<...
ohno's solo was also disappointing. >"<...

it was flashy johnny style hip hop, but it suited sho perfectly^^. he was completely at ease with it and he was truly in his element ne~~~
there were the bunch of girls + guys dancers surrounding him most of the time, but it seemed so casual and fun and a treat to the eyes
+ the other 4 arashi guys appeared for an instance on the huge screens behind him to echo his "yo!" "yo!"
and he hid his disaster hairstyle under his cap, so all was perfect
- and of course the encore fighto song had to be funny and dangerous
this time, all 5 boys, other than sho, were doing somersaults in the air like in jun's yabaix3!!
O.o
they were dangled nearly from the ceiling by a huge balloon, and their wires could be individually controlled to lift and lower each guy separately O.o
and what's really dangerous was that, instead of just staying at the main stage, they travelled all across to the back stage slowly orz...
now that made me really worried. >"<...
but aiba, jun, nino and ohno seemed to have fun swirling round and round and mischievously glancing at the fans upside down^^
except sho XD, who was clinging onto the wires for his life he even got problem getting out of his harness XD most likely coz he was too damn nerved up XD
- they didn't sing ARASHI!!! O.o
- there isn't an umbrella idea holding the con together + the new album songs are too weak are my biggest complaints.
the eco theme that popped up halfway didn't really fit their songs and perfs... come on! johnnys and save the world of rubbish (as if my home wasn't full ofarashi goods junk XD) green peace anti global warming completely had nothing common with each other >"<
it was too sudden. no hint of this in the album etc.
but most of the goods have this theme on. O.o even the PLASTIC eco bag had this eco worm logo on it
they even had a new song (not in any albums) for this eco segment O.o
so what if this eco worm mascot was cute, it didn't fit the theme of 'dream alive' at all.
isn't dream alive about the boys' achievement, step and go, move your body kind of passion? i don't understand where this save the environment idea popped up from. O.o

i was wondering what your seat was when you took the picture of the stage? seems like i got row 20 for fukuoka dome, so i'm trying to figure if that's a good seat/view.. =X ahha of course in the end it doesn't matter cos i'll be watching arashi in CONCERT! yatta! D:
