kokuritsu is ALWAYS love
and of course, this is their 10th yr special... which makes today even more special

the big big hiccup today was the HORRENDOUS sound system.
it was terrible for the first quarter of the show, too soft and horribly unstable >"<...
but was slowly fixed as the show went on... whew... but still, definitely not up to concert standards >"<...

overall, 5x10 kokuritsu was love ... well, at least jun was love... my eyes were GLUED on to him 99.99999% of the time

omg he was so gorgeous with his fringe pinned up, showing off his face *dies* i watched this show with tokki, another jun fanatic, and we ran out of words to describe how kirei, kakkoi, kawaii, fine he looked *dies*
i mean, seeing jun LIVE was like having 15 sex on the beach shots in a row
and more deadly i think^^

he had put on some weight, on a good side, and he had bleached a lot YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!
his face was perfectly and delicately shaped like a porcelain doll, his cheekbones high and fine as usual, yet fleshy in health, his gaze was as riveting as usual with beautiful deep-set eyes framed by perfectly manicured, symmetrical eyebrows. <---hmm i'm beginning to sound like a mills and boons writer
he was ALWAYS, so much more gorgeous in live than any photo, tv show could portray him. it's always such a treat seeing him live ne~
why do i feel like i've written something like this about jun before XD

ok, back to the show...

tokki and i were guessing that maybe it would start on A RA SHI... but we were so wrong!!
5x10 show started with 5 guys flying across the stadium from the tip of the main stage to the raised tip of the back stage, way above the torch O.o...
it was awesome but bloody dangerous!!
i mean, what were they thinking?? or what was jun thinking?? it's really windy up there u know O.o... ok i was nagging about this, and hiromi and sakura already said i sounded like his wife mom

then they kicked off their official first song kansha kangeki ame arashi^^
so it's an official thank you con from the start ne~

erm... i'm not gonna report song by song, coz i can't even remember all of it, and even if i do, i don't remember the names of the songs XD
so here're some highlights^^

jun's solo this time was EXCELLENT!
after all these years since la familiar, he finally found a rhythm and pacing that didn't show off the quacking side of him. and he didn't strip nor tear off his clothes either nor wear anything earth shattering XD
btw, each boy sang a re-mixed old arashi song, which i thought was a touch of genius
jun's solo was wish-lss. but jazz-fied^^
and jun sang it sooooooo nicely!! the tone was custom re-organized to fit his scale.
he was also perfectly garbed in a simple, loose white shirt that although wasn't body clinging, it show off his slim, fine lines more as he wriggled, i mean did a simple, but sexy jazzy dance.
he's also got 2 thin, black suspenders that ran down parallel from the front to his simple, black pants that flattered his delectable slim body even more
and they criss crossed loosely at the back.
his solo started off slow and soothing, then it got faster and faster and climaxed and ended at a high! geez... i WANT A FANCAM!!^^

the other solo that i loved was nino's solo!!
he was suggoi kakkoi!!!
he blazed on stage with an electric guitar, and even though he was only in charge of about 7 sets of chords (ok, kidding XD), he was still damn cool
definitely 10736937937x cooller than when he was doing the guitar part on jun's 'tell me'... ok la, jun made everything kind of disney-fied on that solo XD

then next i like was ohno's solo. he was garbed in that ridiculous uta no onii san outfit but it was really fun

and i hope they fix the sound problem during aiba's solo. coz it's such a pity that aiba finally did something damn cool and not over-kawaii, and we couldn't hear much of him >"<...
this is the first time i heard such a low tension pikanchi. we could only hear bits and pieces of this and that. urgh!!
he flew to the middle stage from the main stage in wires, very, very kakkoi!!
the dance and performace was great, but damn, the atmosphere was missing due to bad/no sound. T_T

sho's solo was lmao this time
he was in silver bling bling, engulfed by a stream of junior boys bouncing silver volleyballs ORZ...
yikes!! he was doing a solo that reminded me of aiba's previous solos LOL...
and halfway through, at a point where there was a natural, no lyrics pause in the song, he yelled at the audience "EVERYBODY!!"
and then everybody had this blur expression of HAR?? @.@
it was so ticklishly braindead that me and tokki burst out cackling, and we couldn't stop laughing till we nearly rolled down from the sky seats where we were at

the mc was funny too^^
they made sho get up on one of those cloud-reaching-but-not-quite extendable pedestals around the middle stage and do the hadashi no mirai dance
of course, our non-height-loving sho made a scene of himself XD

but the irritating thing was they didn't dance to truth!! T_T
they flew up on the stupid wires again
urgh!! it's dangerous and it's not a new trick. not amusing at all
and i think the other 4 boys pulled a prank on sho.
sho was lifted into the air, but he didn't move!! the other guys zipped about him freely, but sho's rope just didn't budge an inch...
he didn't look pleased either... i believe it was a prank. well, it would be proven if he did move tomorrow
but i'd sooooooo rather they danced la~~~
they danced so little in this concert ne >"<...

and they wore their debut see through rain garb for A RA SHI!!!
yatta!!!
it was soooooo fun and endearing to see them in their baby perf clothes
geez... but this outfit had a different take on them this time O.o... in 1999, they were gangly teenagers with nothing but knobbly knees to show off, just another ridiculous johnny garb... but now seeing them with near full developed chests, strong limbs and such kakkoi faces... and the transparent plastic clinging on to their wet bodies... O.o... OMG!!! it's nearly x-rated
i love it!!!

this was the first time since 2006 that i cried buckets in their con T__________________________T
it was amazingly touching.
i was tearing when they played a very well-done retrospective video of the boys... and was bawling when ohno made his thank you speech.

you see, he was crying too.
he started speaking, then paused... then he couldn't speak anymore for the next few minutes.
and my tears just joined him naturally.
it's been a tough 10 years.
even though i didn't grow up with them all 10 years, i enjoyed the strength and inspiration that they had given me these few short years that i'd been following them.
you know, only strength that came out of alot of hard work could be felt by others and passed on.
only those who had given in all their heart and belief and passion could be moulded into inspiration for others.
it had been a pleasure being their fan, and i would never stop being their fan as long as i want to live passionately, if they still live passionately too.

btw, as i was sitting at gate 9, i could see the special guests at the privileged stand next to the back stage.
and ogu san was there! unfortunately, i think that stand had this over-dignified pressure on those folks in there, so he was in his seat the whole time, but smiling widely^^
and ryo from k8/news was there in a white t-shirt and wearing shades XD
there was another guy there, tokki said maybe it was toma... i couldn't recognize him though lol

ok, enough written on the first show... it's been such a loooong time since their last con that i over-wrote this time i think lol

ps. the fireworks started this time at believe... it was so unexpected that it was amazing.
and the boys sang 5x10 and dragged a long note at 'arigatouuuuu~~~' and then the staff let out thousands of balloons O.o... this was the most awesome and touching part i think.^^
